Adelaida Cellars

California, the most populous state of the United States, located on the Pacific coast of North America is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. The four largest cities are Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose and San Francisco. California is also the home of and wine producing regions such as Santa Barbara and Northern California's Wine Country.

Adelaida Cellars, one of the most popular wineries in California take particular care to store wines properly and ship them securely. This winery, which originated in 1981, is located 14 miles east of the Pacific Ocean and is elevated at 1,800 feet in the Santa Lucia mountain chain. Adelaida produces from its own estate vineyards and a select group of contracted vineyards, on the west side of Paso Robles. Among its holdings are the two principal estate properties, Viking Vineyard and HMR Vineyard. The mighty Viking Vineyard was planted in the year 1992 and is now producing great Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

When Terry Culton heard from departing winemaker Jon Priest that his position at Adelaida was vacant, he was straight away interested knowing the extraordinary estate vineyards they owned. At Adelaida, they are best known for their big red wines with bold fruit flavors and spice. These also include old vine zinfandels, cabernet sauvignons, syrahs, rhone style red wines, pinot noirs, chardonnays and rhone whites. Their wines are categorized by 4 labels that include the Adelaida label, the SLO label, the Reserve label, and the Schoolhouse label.

Adelaida Cellars are one of the best in the wine business and are aware that quality is not accidental but by high intention and perseverance and are devoted to follow it on any backgrounds.
