Amador Cellars

California, the most populous state of the United States, located on the Pacific coast of North America is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. The four largest cities are Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose and San Francisco. California is also the home of and wine producing regions such as Santa Barbara and Northern California's Wine Country.

Amador Cellars is an exclusive winery located in the heart of Amador County’s green Shenandoah Valley wine country. Built in 2003 of rice straw and concrete the winery and tasting room conveys Old World architecture and technique that emphasizes utility, simplicity and function. At 1500 and 2050 feet in elevation on soils derived from decomposed granite these vineyards are farmed to yield small crops of unusual tasting fruit.

Their wines are made in a style that emphasizes varietal character of the fruit augmented by subtle oak and vanilla flavors from oak barrel aging. Their entire wine grape is harvested by hand at the peak of ripeness, fermented in oak barrels, open top bins or stainless steel tanks for 5 to 12 days and then aged in oak barrels for 8 to 20 months. You can celebrate weddings, special events or a special business gathering as well.

The wines they offer include 2004 Chardonnay, 2003 Chardonnay, 2002 Barbera, 2003 Sangiovese, 2003 Zinfandel, 2002 Zinfandel, 2004 Zinfandel Rocky Point Vineyard, 2003 Zinfandel Reserve, 2003 Syrah, 2004 Zinfandel, 2003 Rapscallion, 2004 Syrah and 2004 Rapscallion. Visitors can enjoy themselves by joining their Amador Cellars Crush Club as well as their Amador Cellars Cellar Club.

Amador Cellars are one of the best in the wine business and are aware that quality is not accidental but by high intention and perseverance and are devoted to follow it on any backgrounds.
