Armida Winery
California, the most populous state of the United States, located on the Pacific coast of North America is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. The four largest cities are Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose and San Francisco. California is also the home of and wine producing regions such as Santa Barbara and Northern California's Wine Country. Armida Winery is a group of some of the finest minds ever to gather together in a geodesic dome for the purpose of making wine. Unintentionally, they are probably the only minds ever to gather together in a geodesic dome for the purpose of making wine. They at Armida have taken the doing more with less philosophy to heart and utilizing the biggest volume of interior cranial space with the least amount of employee surface area, which translates into 7 incredible people, making 10,000 cases of incredible wine. In the fall of 1990, Bob Frugoli founded Armida Winery and concurrently developed and farmed vineyards in the Russian River Valley. Armida Winery is located at the south end of the Dry Creek Valley appellation. Perched up on a hilly bench, Armida overlooks the Russian River Valley growing area to the south. Three geodesic domes grandly preside atop the naturally landscaped hillside, housing the fermentation cellar, the tasting room and the aging cellar filled with French and American oak barrels. Wines to remember in a place, you will never forget, Sonoma County is world famous for its phenomenal growing regions and Armida is lucky to receive fruit from three of its finest the Dry Creek, Russian River, and Alexander Valleys. Also Armida Winery has won several honors including Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals. Armida Winery takes pride in upholding the standards of superiority and traditions of family and fine wine.
