Beaulieu Vineyard

The roots of Beaulieu Vineyard were firmly planted in Napa Valley by Frenchman Georges de Latour, a native of Bordeaux, in 1900. Within a few years he purchased 128 acres of prime vineyard land adjacent to his home in Rutherford, then later bought more land near Oakville. It is located in the town of Rutherford, Beaulieu Vineyard welcomes guests from around the world with a glass of wine and a friendly smile. Signet Collection wines are crafted from unique varietals, in limited quantities, or from particular vineyards. Signet Collection wines give their winemakers an opportunity to experiment with grapes or create exciting blends that could well end up as legendary wines. Their Appellation Tier wines reflect their commitment to taking the best of the Napa Valley for their Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc. In their Carneros vineyards, they have found a natural home for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. For Chardonnay, they have expanded their Appellation wines to Sonoma, where maritime breezes and ideal soils contribute to unique wines of fine flavor and richness.
Coastal wines made from premium grapes grown in vineyards throughout Central and Northern California, BV, Beaulieu Vineyard Coastal wines are influenced by the states coastal mountain ranges and gentle breezes off the Pacific Ocean. The cooler climate in these regions provides for even ripening and intense flavors in the grapes.
Beaulieu Vineyard, with its over 100 years of winemaking history, is one of the very few Napa Valley wineries that has an extensive older vintage library where you can purchase wines dating back several decades.
