The Bonny Doon Vineyard was established in 1983 at the site of a former roadhouse on Bonny Doon Road. During its first year, the winery produced 2,500 cases of primarily Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Today, the winery turns out 150,000 cases a year, with about 40,000 of those produced in Santa Cruz County.
