California, the most populous state of the United States, located on the Pacific coast of North America is the home of and wine producing regions such as Santa Barbara and Northern California's Wine Country. Carneros Creek was founded in 1972 with a special emphasis on clonal experimentations. The winery has over 160 acres planted in Pinot Noir. The Briarcliff Wine Group, LLC, is the exclusive global marketer and sole brand owner of Carneros Creek Winery. Carneros Creek Vineyards offer different type of wines such as Carneros Creek namely Grail Pinot Noir 2002, which has sweet black cherry and vanilla nose, voluptuous ripe red, black cherry spice, sweet oak, chocolate vanilla flavors. It is located to the Southeastern most corner of the Sonoma County .The 2003 is a ruby red color, with aromas of ripe bing cherry, spice and undertones of toasted oak. This wine has got many awards namely the 30th International Eastern Wine Competition, Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, Gold Long Beach Grand Cru, 2006 International Wine Competition and Gold 2006 San Diego International Wine Competition. The 2004 Carneros Creek wine has a classic feel, with a purity of fruit that is Carneros at it’s best. The 2002 Carneros Creek Carneros Reserve Pinot Noir has a sweet black cherry and vanilla nose, voluptuous ripe red, black cherry spice, sweet oak, chocolate vanilla flavors seamlessly lead to a ripe, smooth lingering, rich finish. It is a Gold Medal Winner 2006 for Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, Gold Medal Winner 2006 for Jerry D. Mead New World International Wine Competition. 2003 Carneros Creek Reserve Pinot Noir is a Ripe red cherry, sweet oak and chocolate aromas meld into like flavors, ripe red and black cherry, Bourbon barrel oak tones, complex, silky yet generous ripe red fruit flavors end in a long soft finish. It is a Gold Medal and Best of Class Winner 2006 for Pacific Rim International Wine Competition Silver Medal Winner for 2006 Jerry D. Mead New World International Wine Competition. 2004 Carneros Creek Carneros Reserve Pinot Noir is a Dark ruby in color, the wine shows lush, ripe red cherry aromas with subtle spice and oak in the background. The goal of Carneros Creek Vineyard’s winemaking program is to create wines of uncompromising quality with optimum flavor and aromatic components that reflect the unique characteristics of the vineyards from which they come.
