Lynmar Winery
California, the most populous state of the United States, located on the Pacific coast of North America is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. The four largest cities are Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose and San Francisco. California is also the home of and wine producing regions such as Santa Barbara and Northern California's Wine Country. Lynn Fritz, an expert in global logistics and humanitarian relief efforts, and family purchased Quail Hill Vineyard in 1980 and switched the name to Lynmar Winery in 1990 to produce world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay reflecting the character of the Russian River Valley appellation, and terroir of Quail Hill Vineyard. Their first commercial wines were released in 1996 with the 1994 vintages of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Lynmar Winery’s 42 acres Quail Hill Vineyard estate has long been recognized as a stellar vineyard in the region, and has superb qualities for growing world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Their winemaking team starts in the vineyard and managing vine-by-vine to optimize even fruit ripening, quality and balance. In the winery, they prefer to let Mother Nature do the work. They handle the wine as little as possible and, again, strive to achieve balanced tannins, fruit qualities and natural acidity. The result is their characteristic Lynmar style wines with character, full berry flavors and balanced qualities reflecting their Quail Hill Vineyard. Lynmar Winery offers award winning wines that include Lynmar Quail Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir, Lynmar Quail Hill Vineyard Chardonnay, Lynmar Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Lynmar Russian River Valley Chardonnay, Lynmar Russian River Valley Vin Gris and Lynmar Russian River Valley Syrah. The goal of Lynmar Winery‘s winemaking program is to create wines of uncompromising quality with optimum flavor and aromatic components that reflect the unique characteristics of the vineyards from which they come.
