Pellegrini Family Winery
California, the most populous state of the United States, located on the Pacific coast of North America is the home of and wine producing regions such as Santa Barbara and Northern California's Wine Country.
For four generations, the Pellegrini name has stood behind a family of award-winning, handcrafted California wines produced from grapes grown on their estate vineyards in Sonoma County. Pellegrini Family Vineyards produces estate wines under the Olivet Lane, Cloverdale Ranch and Pellegrini labels. Olivet Lane Estate vineyard is devoted exclusively to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Cloverdale Ranch vineyard produces outstanding Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. Cloverdale Ranch is situated on 55 acres of deep gravelly soil in the northern Alexander Valley. Extending from the base of the Mayacamas Mountains to the east bank of the Russian River, this vineyard produces outstanding Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon fruit.
Adjoining the Olivet Lane property is their Eight Cousins Vineyard, home to 11 acres of old clone Zinfandel. Noted for their deep color, spicy blackberry-like flavors and fragrance, the wines from this vineyard are full-bodied while retaining a sense of balance that complements food. This vineyard is stewarded by the fourth generation of Pellegrini Family Vineyards, the eight children of Richard, Robert and Jeanne.
Their library wines includes 2002 Olivet Lane Estate Pinot Noir located in Russian River Valley, 2003 Olivet Lane Estate Pinot Noir located in Russian River Valley, 2001 Cloverdale Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon located in Alexander Valley, 2002 Cloverdale Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon located in Alexander Valley.
Pellegrini Family Vineyards current releases are namely 2005 Olivet Lane Estate Pinot Noir located in Russian River Valley, 2005 Pellegrini Zinfandel located in Russian River Valley, 2003 Cloverdale Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon located in Alexander Valley, 2003 Cloverdale Ranch Merlot located in Alexander Valley, 2004 Olivet Lane Estate Chardonnay located in Russian River Valley, 2004 Pellegrini Carignan located in Redwood Valley, 2005 Pellegrini Chardonnay located in Russian River Valley and 2005 Pellegrini Sauvignon Blanc located in Leveroni Vineyard Lake County.
Together, the family continues to produce some of Sonoma County's finest wines, and is committed to continuing the legacy of distinction and quality, now and for future generations. The goal of Pellegrini Family Vineyards winemaking program is to create wines of uncompromising quality with optimum flavor and aromatic components that reflect the unique characteristics of the vineyards from which they come.
