Arroyo Grande
California is the most populous state of the United States. Located on the Pacific coast of North America, it is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. California is known for its pleasant climate and ethnically diverse population. The name California is most commonly believed derived from a storied paradise peopled by black Amazons and ruled by Queen Califia. Arroyo Grande is a coastal community in San Luis Obispo County, California, United States. The population was 15,851 inhabitants in 2000 census. According to the United States census bureau, the city has a total area of 14.7 square kilometers. The population density was 1,079.4 per square kilometers. There were 6,750 housing units at an average density of 459.6 per square kilometers. Fewer than half a dozen nights each winter drop below 32 degrees, and a summer reading over 83 degrees is a rarity. Tourism and agriculture spur the local economy and provide the impetus for a feast of yearly festivals and celebrations, each one showcasing local products, local pastimes, and local businesses. Arroyo Grande is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in California worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place leaves a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justifies the proud cultural tradition of California.
