Baldwin Park is a city located in the central San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County, California, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 75,837 inhabitants. According to the United States census bureau, the city has a total area of 17.6 square kilometers out of it 17.2 square kilometers land and 0.3 square kilometers is water area. In the city the population was spread out with 34.9 percent under the age of 18, 11.9 percent from 18 to 24, 30.6 percent from 25 to 44, 16.4 percent from 45 to 64, and 6.2 percent who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 100.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.3 males. Baldwin Park is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
