Downey
California is the most populous state of the United States. Located on the Pacific coast of North America, it is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. The Downey Museum of Art has provided the residents of Downey with exhibitions by California and national artists. It is the only art museum between Downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach. There are notable natives include The Carpenters, James Hetfield of the musical group Metallica, an alumnus of Downey High School, Downey boosts an outstanding quality of life with 13 parks.
