Galt
California is the most populous state of the United States. Located on the Pacific coast of North America, it is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. California is known for its pleasant climate and ethnically diverse population. The name California is most commonly believed derived from a storied paradise peopled by black Amazons and ruled by Queen Califia. Galt is a great American little town and is a city in Sacramento County, California, USA. The population was 19,472 in 2000 census. By mid 2005, according to the Census Bureau, the total number climbed to 23,173 inhabitants. It was founded in 1946. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 15.2 square kilometers. The first transcontinental highway in the United States ran through Galt, the Lincoln Highway. Portions of this historical highway can be seen today as Lincoln Way. It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places. As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of California one of the most visited places amongst the most die-hard travelers the world over.
