La Verne
California is the most populous state of the United States. Located on the Pacific coast of North America, it is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. La Verne is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 31,638 inhabitants at the 2000 census. Don Palomares received a 15,000 acre land grant from Governor Juan Bautista Alvarado in 1837, which included the land of present day cities Pomona, Claremont, San Dimas, Glendora, and La Verne. This holding was called Rancho San Jose.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 21.8 square kilometers. The University of La Verne is located on 3rd Street in La Verne. Bonita High School is located on D Street. Lutheran High School is located on Fruit Street.
La Verne is also known as the city of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
