Lynwood is located near South Gate and Compton in the southern portion of the Los Angeles Basin. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 12.6 square kilometers. As of the census of 2000, there were 69,845 people, 14,395 households, and 12,941 families residing in the city.
It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places. As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of California one of the most visited places amongst the most die-hard travelers the world over.
