Salinas
California is the most populous state of the United States. Located on the Pacific coast of North America, it is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 49.2 square kilometers. As of the census of 2000, there were 151,060 people, 38,298 households, and 30,025 families residing in the city. The population density was 3,068.1 per square kilometers.
