Sharmili Das Promoted to Director at Gibson & Behman, P.C.

BURLINGTON, MA, ISSUED MARCH 17, 2006…Sharmili Das has been named a Director of the Burlington, Massachusetts, headquarters of Gibson & Behman, P.C., a leading law firm well known for providing progressive and economical solutions to its clients since 1987.

In this role, Das, who joined the firm as an Associate in 2000, will oversee the work of a number of Associates in regards to specific corporate clients.  Das’ expanded responsibilities will also encompass supervision of professionals located in the firm’s additional office locations throughout the country.

A cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Case Western Reserve University where she received her Juris Doctor degree, Das’ practice areas focus on premises liability, motor vehicle accident and sexual harassment litigation.  Moreover, she has developed a commercial and corporate practice advising and counseling business clients on all aspects of business development.

A native of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Das maintains Bar and Court Admissions in the State of Massachusetts, U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals and Mohegan Gaming Disputes Court.  She is involved within the Indian community in the Greater Boston Area in both professional and personal respects.
