Spending his late childhood/early teen years in the infamous (707) part of the Bay Area, YoungStaRR has been influenced by stand out rappers such as E-40, Keak da Sneak, Too Short, Ray Luv, and Brotha Lynch Hung. StaRR has lived in almost every region of California, WoW!!!. His music is upbeat with a great vibe and can get any party started. Although at times he has the ability to make songs grimey as his label mates Ed Mils, Kuddy, A.J. Powers and Cast and many more. YoungStaRR and his unique blend of Cali's many different regions of rap, says "I'm just a country boy trying to put my town (Tulare, ca) on the map, without using his 2 older brothers popularity to gain respect". When I asked YoungStarr if he writes or does someone else do it for him he simply replied, "I'mma  grown man dawg, so my music is and has always been written by me, hated by many but loved by most".
